Il progetto si basa su un’esperimento performativo in cui la fotografia, come già avvenuto in altri lavori, assume il ruolo di strumento di registrazione e trasposizione pittorica.
Attraverso l’utilizzo di guanti fosforescenti (appositamente realizzati), ho chiesto ad un praticante dell’arte del tàijíquán di eseguire una forma base al buio al fine di poterne fotografare i movimenti e avere la possibilità, quindi, di restituirne di nuovi in forma-immagine.
È così, dalla successiva selezione degli scatti di frammenti di tempo che non avranno più a ripetersi, simbolo della continua mutazione delle cose e dell'esistenza, che nasce la serie di immagini pittoriche della Non-Forma 33 del tàijíquán (TQNF33).
The project is based on a performative experiment in which photography, as in other works, assumes the role of a tool for recording and painting transposition.
Through the use of fluorescent gloves (specially made), I asked a practitioner of the art of tàijíquán to perform a basic form in the dark in order to photograph the movements and have the possibility, then, to return them in new image-form.
It is thus, from the subsequent selection of shots of fragments of time that will no longer repeat, symbol of the continuous mutation of things and existence, that the series of painting images of the Non-Form 33 of tàijíquán (TQNF33) is born.
